One of the key components of weight loss, fitness and wanting to look and feel better, is getting your daily amount of water. The purpose of this blog is to hopefully give you a greater understanding of why you should be staying hydrated and how it will make a difference day to day.
They say you can live 30 days without food, but only 3 without water. But what are the benefits of not just consuming enough water to survive in comparison to being 100% hydrated as often as possible? Let’s have a look:
- Take a drink bottle you like the look of with you everywhere you go. You’ll be more likely to drink if you always notice it with you.
- Have a glass first thing in the morning when rising. The water helps you get energized for the day quicker. Becoming accustomed to this will have you looking forward to water at the start of the day.
- Add lemon, cucumber, orange, mango for a greater taste attached.
- Tell a friend to ask you daily. Accountability is a powerful thing.
A good recommendation for your daily amount is drinking enough to have a feeling of fullness from water 3-4 times throughout the day.
